I wouldnt be surprised to see Fargo take it all. Their goaltender is hot and they gelled at the right time. I'm guessing Indiana will knock off Green Bay
although I have nothing but a gut feeling on that one. Weird thing is, all 3 of the remaining teams have goaltenders in net who were on a DI team last year in
college hockey. Obviously they didn't make it for one reason or another but they all had gone the "Junior" route already. I think that makes a
HUGE difference in net. Clearly by the teams remaining...

I think Lee played for highschool last year up in Minnesota, but personally I think if you go to college you shouldn't even be allowed back in this league.
If you can't cut it don't leave for college yet and wait another year.

i totally agree with you hawkfan. in collage if you leave early for the pros your not alowed to come back and compete in collage ( yeah i know about the agent
thing) thats the way it should be here. if you feel your ready for collage then once you leave you should not be alowed to come back making room for others to
come in.

Some players find out the school they chose just isn't right for them or they're young and not getting much playing time (see Reid Ellingson). So they
are still junior aged and able to return. Ellingson is going back to Northern Michigan next season.
Bennett was kicked off his college team, and he was given another chance with Indiana and now has a scholarship to Wisconsin. Mike Lee was not in college last season. He played for Roseau, MN high school. When kids transfer schools, juniors allows them to compete night in and night out while they sit out their transfer year in the NCAA. If they weren't allowed back, Waterloo wouldn't have had guys like Jim Jensen, Dustin Molle, and Mitch Ryan return for another season. |

another one bites the dust!
Indy VS Fargo for the cup! (of course the longest drive for any pair of teams in the league) the conspiracy continues- does the league own gas stations along the route between the two cities??
