The begining of the season held lots of promise, but now that the Christmas break has come and gone, lets admit, this team has not lived up to promises
The team is fighting for dear life to stay out of the basement, 2 wins in December, even the Dallas Cowboys did better in December than these guys.
It was a novel approach to go with brawn over talent, who doesnt love a good hockey fight? But I personally would like to see more W's than anything else.

Wrong way down a one way street

When the season begin, I noticed the team went with brawn and not talent. Considering the teams record right now, the front office went down the wrong way of a one street. This is a terrible situation, a losing record is not what fans have come to expect from the organization.

Did the Indiana coach slip the ref a $100 bill in OT??? WTF??? 1st give a power play, the guy says something and he gets a 10 minute misconduct...then hand them a penalty shot because we supposedly touched the puck in the crease and then the sky fell when they finally capitolized on one of their NUMEROUS chances in the OT period. Real SH*TTY ENDING. Sorry. On top of the fact those guys couldn't figure out what whole faceoff deal and kept throwing us out...PK was laughing after...

It was brought to my attention #25 Baumback or whatever his name is...left the bench to join in the fight against Turgeon. This is the 1st video you'll see on my YouTube page. Gotta watch for it...as the camera comes back to the Waterloo bench you'll see #25 take off the Lincoln bench and then appear in front of the Waterloo bench. Still loading some other videos including clear shots of the shootout goals by Barnes and Montpetit which in my opinion were 2 of the best shootout...

1st period woes

We have 9 wins. In 7 of those wins, we were ahead or tied at the end of the 1st period. We have 16 losses. In 15 of those losses, we were behind in the 1st period. We have to change how we come out in the first period.

I was at the game in Des Moines on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out how the Bucs got credited for thier 5th goal. The ref waved it off on the ice at the time and the play continued on without stopping so how does it go to intermission and suddenly the Bucs are awarded a goal? How did it get reviewed? Video? Talking to the goal judge? Was anything said by Harwood on the radio?

This is a serious question that I don't think has been asked.
Last season, we got into the playoffs by the skin of our teeth and bounced out in the first round. This season......well I think the jury is still out, but it does not look good at this point.
We are getting thrashed at times. Most games are come from behind, sometimes from WAY behind. We lost most of our goal scorers from last season and the people who returned are playing at about the same level they played at...

Great win tonight. Amazing game after being down 3-0 in the 1st...considering we got 1 pp to SF's 5. Croft was the ref.

We have 3 wins on the road...@ Green Bay, @ Omaha and now @ Sioux Falls. Record wise these are the 3 best teams in the league right now. My point being is, the Black Hawks can play with and beat anyone in this league...it's a matter of focusing and executing for 60 minutes. Very proud tonight.
